Ms. Hiromi Shimazu is the founder, designer and chief executive officer of Princess HIromi Inc. a luxury apparel, design and consulting firm based in Tokyo. The mission of the Princess Hiromi brand is to help women in executive roles be professional and elegant in business and social settings around the globe.

All Princess Hiromi products are designed by Hiromi herself, made in New York City, and are being sold at prestigious locations including Hotel Okura, Imperial Hotel, Matsuya Ginza and HP France in Tokyo.

Prior to establishing Princess Hiromi in 2011, she served as senior executive at multinational fashion companies for over 10 years and gained experience in textile and design by working along with leading experts in the industry.

Hiromi started her professional career as a lawyer in New York City before moving to the fashion industry. She hold an MBA from Columbia Business School and JDfrom Boston College School, and BAfrom Georgetown University. She received the Governor's Award (first prize) for Design from Japan Apparel Business Association (2014) and Entrepreneur Award in Japan from the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo (2015). She is a co-author of the book Color Theory in Shop by For You Publishing Co., Japan (2007).
